Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a crucial week-long diplomatic mission to France and the United States today, marking one of his most significant foreign engagements this year. In France, Modi will meet President Emmanuel Macron to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the India-France Strategic Partnership. The agenda includes high-profile discussions on defense cooperation, with negotiations expected on India's potential acquisition of 26 additional Rafale-M fighter jets for the Indian Navy. Space collaboration will also take center stage, with ISRO and France's CNES likely to finalize agreements on satellite technology and climate research.
