Kanpur: Pregnant minor girl accuses father, grandfather, and uncle with rape

A minor from the Bidhuna Kotwali area in UP's Auraiya district has accused her grandfather, father, and uncle of assaulting her, resulting in her becoming two months pregnant. The incident was brought to light when the victim, accompanied by her aunt, approached Bidhuna Kotwali to file a complaint on Thursday.

The police took the girl's grandfather, father, and uncle into custody and placed them in jail on Friday. The victim was then sent for a medical examination.

A case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Additional Superintendent of Police Alok Mishra stated that the victim alleged that her grandfather, father, and uncle had been abusing her repeatedly for several months.

Upon examination, it was confirmed that the victim was indeed two months pregnant. She claimed that her parents had a dispute 10-12 years ago, and the accused had also exploited her mother. On December 22, the trio even conspired to kill her, prompting her to flee to a village in the Dibiyapur area to seek refuge at her aunt's house, where she shared her harrowing experience.
