maximum measurable limit of 500 on Wednesday, breaching the 'severe plus' category. This hazardous

air quality has prompted urgent action from authorities, with educational institutions and health officials

quickly stepping in to protect public health. In an unprecedented move, the Delhi government directed all

schools and colleges, including those under Delhi University, to transition entirely to online classes until

further notice. This decision aims to minimize exposure for students and faculty as pollution levels become

Residents are advised to stay indoors, especially during the morning and evening hours when smog concentration

peaks. The Health Ministry, in collaboration with local hospitals, has issued advisories recommending the use
