Northeast MPs Demand Urgent Action on Manipur Crisis: Call for President's Rule Amidst Central Government's Silence

In an impassioned plea, Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Northeast have called for decisive action to address the ongoing crisis in Manipur. The MPs urged the imposition of President's Rule, citing the state's deteriorating law and order situation and a lack of visible governance amidst continued unrest.  

"The situation in Manipur has spiraled beyond control. Innocent lives are at stake, and the state administration has failed to restore peace. President's Rule is essential to bring stability and justice," stated a senior MP from the region.  

This comes as ethnic clashes, community tensions, and displacement of thousands have plagued the northeastern state for months. Civil society organizations and local leaders have echoed the MPs' concerns, accusing both the state and central governments of inaction.  

"What is the central government waiting for?" questioned another MP. "Their silence is deafening, and it raises serious concerns about their commitment to resolving this crisis."  

The demand for President's Rule comes amidst growing calls for accountability.
